I don’t think my experience with Russell could have been any better. Typically, I rank home security installers and salesmen slightly above used car salesmen in terms of wanting to deal with them. Russell raised the bar for his field.
He came out on short notice and gave a estimate for a completely wireless system for our house. Gave me the prices and breakdowns of each unit and module and information of what pieces tied into what. What was optional and what needed to go in at the very least. He never once tried to up-sell anything. He just let me know what there was.
Once I decided to go with him, he came out and did an install and chatted with me through the entire thing. Answered questions, both hypothetical and functional. He also took the time to explain exactly how things worked and were hooked up (I like to know how things work, in case they break and it’s something simple.)
Then, it came time to pay up and it ended up being LESS than the original quote. You tell me how often that happens with an alarm install. We got all the functionality with asked for and needed, stayed under our budget, and still paid less than expected at the end of the day. You don’t see that often.
Note: There are two Central Security providers. We called the first one and I think the overflow goes over to Russell. Same parent company, different contractors. I’m very happy it did.
